Since 2001 SERVE has coordinated the field placement of social work students for Diplomas, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Students from our partner universities. NISD (National Institute of Social Development) and Umea University Sweden have successfully completed their field placement with SERVE. We have a panel of well experienced social workers who are both from academia and practitioners to provide guidance, mentoring and supervision.
SERVE offers students the opportunity to do their field placement in Sri Lanka. Our variety of projects offer students an interesting set up to conduct research and gain practical experience. In close cooperation with SERVE’s partner Universities we have hosted several students. Become part of our team helping communities with an innovative and sustainable approach!
For over 17 years we have been a reliable partner to universities in offering students a unique field placement. As a well-developed organisation we provide students insights into an innovative concept in a local setting. Our broad approach offers any student the opportunity to find a suitable project. We provide students with everything they need to fully concentrate on the work within the communities.
