Your Role
Help out in one of our preschools in the morning and in our office in the afternoon. Assist our teachers by conducting activities and supporting the children. After lunch you can help our office staff develop and improve their computer and english skills. In addition, many employees would like to improve their english skills. Help them develop their language skills and make their work more efficient. Prepare small workshops and help the staff with questions and problems.
What will you be doing?
The morning you will spend in one of our preschools assisting our teachers. Help them in their daily challenges of finding the ideal balance of teaching and playing for children just a couple of years old. The afternoon you will spend at our office helping some of our staff members. Locate where you see room for improvement and develop a concept how you can help our staff with their work. Support them with their daily challenges and help improve their language skills.
Working & Living with us
SERVE wants all volunteers to have a pleasant experience during their service to the local communities. We will provide you with airport transportation, simple accomodation and local food. One of our staff members will pick you up from the airport and take you to our volunteer accomodation located in the south of Colombo. We employ women from the local community to prepare delicious Sri Lankan food during your stay.
